| INSTALLATION |
Ensure that :-
All components for use with oxygen are free of oil, grease and lubricants.
Do not grip the body or any part in a vice, as permanent damage may be caused.
Once assembled, the entire system should be pressurised to the maximum, working
pressure and all connections and joints leak tested with an approved leak detecting fluid.

| FUNCTION |
| Although the flashback arrestor will prevent a flashback from passing into the hose, the cause of
every flash back must be established and the fault responsible must be eliminated before the equipment is re-used. |
| MAINTENANCE |
| The flashback arrestor should be regularly tested with nitrogen for leaks to atmosphere and the non-return value for reverse flow. |
